When he arrived on the archipelago in 1866, the American writer Mark Twain described Hawaii as “the most beautiful fleet of islands ever anchored on the surface of the oceans”. Jack London and Robert Louis Stevenson also nourished the imagination brought to this heavenly elsewhere through their travels and their writings; Jack London writes in particular about surfers: “It is the god Mercury, a Mercury with brown skin; its winged heels carry it with the speed of the waves…”. Even today, this confetti of America smoking in the Pacific fascinates. And rightly so. This paradise on earth deserves flight…
Explore a land of contrasts, made up of long idyllic beaches with its waves and its mythical surfers, its rivers of lava, its jungles embellished with waterfalls and cascades… During hikes, take to the heights and enjoy sublime views in the heart of a wild nature like no other. Live suspended moments while bathing in warm turquoise waters… And discover an ancestral and mysterious culture. For history lovers, visit the war relics of Pearl Harbor, traces of the Japanese attack of December 7, 1941. Like a symbol, they neighbor the USS Missouri where the Japanese surrender was signed.
